A nice turnout and stimulating discussion at our May 4 panel on Science and Religion. Panelists left to right include moderator Colleen Carroll, South Joplin Christan Church, Paul Teverow, Joplin United Hebrew Congregation, Michael Garoutte, Peace Lutheran Church and Missouri Southern State University chemistry department, John Metcalf, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and chemist at DynoNobel, Bradley Shelby, a member of the Buddhist community and paleontologist, and Aadil Denmayza, former imam of the Joplin Islamic Society and chemical engineer.
