We are praising God for a full church at Peñitas Arriba this morning! 🙌

Our sister church in Gallito does not yet have a church building, so they gathered at Peñitas Arriba to celebrate their anniversary alongside brothers and sisters from Peñitas Abajo and San Antonio.

The women from the Gallito church prepared tamales for everyone—a tremendous amount of work, especially for a gathering this large! We are so grateful for the love and generosity they poured into serving their church family.

What an encouragement it was to see these churches worshiping, celebrating and enjoying fellowship together!

Later this month, we will share more about why such an encouraging day was especially needed for these churches in our newsletter.

In the Dominican Republic, nearly every evening you will find Toby, Adolfo, or Dario teaching—and several days each week, two classes are held.

The work continues faithfully, one class and one conversation at a time, as people study God’s Word, grow in their faith, and learn to help others follow Christ.

Our September Prayer & Praise had a wonderful problem—**there was simply too much to share in one newsletter!** ❤️

I kept trying to make it fit into one newsletter. After multiple edits, one became two…and finally, I gave up trying to squeeze it all in and made it **three!** 😊

Praise God for a great summer with the boys! With school starting back this week, the basketball tournament wrapped up Tuesday night with medals and pizza provided by the community. We’re especially thankful that these boys had a safe place to stay active, learn about God, and stay out of trouble all summer. The community has expressed how grateful they are for the investment in these young men.

Last night they had class where the kids in the basketball club show up. They get to learn about Jesus and play basketball. This ministry has been such a blessing for these kids.

Dario has asked us to pray for his brother, who is in the hospital and is not doing well.

Although we will include this request in Tuesday’s Prayer & Praise newsletter, the need is urgent. Would you please take a moment to pray right now? Please pray for healing, strength, and wisdom for those caring for him. Most importantly, pray that Dario’s brother will come to know Jesus and experience the hope and salvation found in Him.

We were excited to hear from Rony that another baptism recently took place in the Merendón Mountains of Honduras!

God is faithfully changing lives through the patient work of discipleship. Every baptism is a reminder that when God's Word is faithfully taught, hearts are transformed and lives are changed.

Please join us in praising God for Jimena Pereira, who recently publicly professed her faith in Jesus Christ through baptism. Pray for Jimena as she continues growing in her walk with the Lord, and pray for Rony as he faithfully disciples believers and shares the Gospel throughout the Merendón Mountains.

We look forward to sharing more of Jimena's story—and the ripple effect of discipleship—in an upcoming newsletter.

What a beautiful day of celebration!

Yesterday, we rejoiced as a mother and her daughter publicly confessed their faith in Jesus Christ through baptism. What a privilege it is to witness lives being transformed by the power of the Gospel!

Please join us in thanking God for these two precious sisters in Christ as they begin this new chapter of faithfully following Him.

We also ask you to pray for another member of their family who is seeking the Lord. We are praying that God will continue working in his heart and that he will soon take this same step of faith in baptism.

Thank you for praying for the people God has entrusted to us. We continue to see Him changing lives, one heart at a time.
