We are so excited to celebrate the arrival of this handsome little blessing! Congratulations to our minister, **Rony, and his wife, Heydi**, on the birth of their precious son!

What a beautiful gift from God! 🍼💙

Please join us in praying for this sweet family as they prepare to travel home. The mountain road is in terrible condition, and traveling with a newborn will not be easy.

Pray for their safety, a smooth journey, and precious time together as they settle in at home.

We are so blessed to have Kathy Underwood edit our digital newsletters! Sometimes what I think will be one newsletter turns into three or four—there is so much to share about what God is doing!

Between yesterday and today, I sent her seven newsletters to review. I can’t wait to share them with you all!

I have times when the words flow and times when it’s better to forget even trying! So when I can write, Kathy sometimes receives a whole bunch of work at once. She never complains and always gets back to me quickly—even when I tell her there is no rush.

When I’m working on several newsletters, I tend to overlook things, but Kathy catches the details my mind passes over. She is such a wonderful editor and encourager, and I don’t know what we would do without her!

Thank you, Kathy, for your patience, encouragement, and the time you give to help us share these stories. We appreciate you so much!

Did you know we pray for our supporters?

We pray for the individuals, couples, and families who partner with us, as well as our supporting churches—their ministers, elders, mission teams, and church families. We are blessed to partner with you and share in your lives through prayer.

We keep a monthly prayer calendar, with each supporter assigned a day when we pray specifically for them. As we pray for individuals and families, we also lift up their churches and church leaders.

I love hearing your good news! I also appreciate knowing when you are going through difficulties so we can pray with you and for you.

Today was an especially encouraging day. Everyone we heard from had wonderful news to share, and it was a joy to thank God with them!

Please pray for Adolfo, who fell approximately 43–46 feet. We are praising God that, remarkably, the only injury was to his foot. He must remain completely off it for a month. Please pray for full healing, patience during his recovery, and no lasting complications.

One of our greatest blessings is the partnership we share with our supporters. Today, we are praying for three faithful partners who support and pray for our ministry and are now facing health challenges of their own.

What a blessing it is to have relationships in which we can pray for one another and walk together through life’s challenges.

We are praising God for a full church at Peñitas Arriba this morning! 🙌

Our sister church in Gallito does not yet have a church building, so they gathered at Peñitas Arriba to celebrate their anniversary alongside brothers and sisters from Peñitas Abajo and San Antonio.

The women from the Gallito church prepared tamales for everyone—a tremendous amount of work, especially for a gathering this large! We are so grateful for the love and generosity they poured into serving their church family.

What an encouragement it was to see these churches worshiping, celebrating and enjoying fellowship together!

Later this month, we will share more about why such an encouraging day was especially needed for these churches in our newsletter.

In the Dominican Republic, nearly every evening you will find Toby, Adolfo, or Dario teaching—and several days each week, two classes are held.

The work continues faithfully, one class and one conversation at a time, as people study God’s Word, grow in their faith, and learn to help others follow Christ.

Our September Prayer & Praise had a wonderful problem—**there was simply too much to share in one newsletter!** ❤️

I kept trying to make it fit into one newsletter. After multiple edits, one became two…and finally, I gave up trying to squeeze it all in and made it **three!** 😊

Praise God for a great summer with the boys! With school starting back this week, the basketball tournament wrapped up Tuesday night with medals and pizza provided by the community. We’re especially thankful that these boys had a safe place to stay active, learn about God, and stay out of trouble all summer. The community has expressed how grateful they are for the investment in these young men.
