"As the deer pants for the water, so my soul pants for you, oh God". Our soul and spirit cries out worthy worthy oh Jesus! Just wow!

Associate Pastor Nathan Jones will bring the message “Who is the Main Character” this morning at 10:30: we look forward to being with you in worship and word. No services tonight. Enjoy your Labor Day weekend and be full of the knowledge of the goodness and love of your Jesus.

Just an FYI for this morning’s service. This extreme heat has been a little rough on our AC (although it is working). We will have a shortened service and feel free to wear shorts and a T-Shirt. Sorry for the inconvenience, but we look forward to seeing you all!

We just need to pay attention! Paul said that we have the mind of Christ. He was saying we have the Holy Spirit in us, and that means we have access to all the knowledge and wisdom of God. Our Father already knows everything this day holds and His plan is that we win. Doesn't matter what it looks like, He's got an answer. He's not surprised, it didn't catch Him off guard, He already has it covered. He'll show us how to come out on top, we just need to pay attention.
Got a business decision to make, or need some direction? Don't know what to do about a situation? Do you need something and don't know how to get it? Just ask Him and then pay attention.
Doesn't matter what goes on in this world, we have access to all the knowledge and wisdom of the One who created it. He wants us to have life and live it abundantly. He'll show us what to do; we just need to pay attention. Hope I've helped you.
I speak His abundance into your life today. Be blessed and know that I love you.

My thoughts today are all about Jesus. What He must have gone through, the beating, the humiliation of the Cross, the terrors of hell. I can't imagine all the pain and suffering He went through, and to think, it was all for me and you! Guess I'll never be able to comprehend the depth of that love.
Nothing I can do to deserve that. So I guess I'll just receive it and say THANK YOU, JESUS.
I give you my life, and hope You will use me to share that love with others.
Isn't it great to serve a Risen Savior? Jesus, You are wonderful!
He loves us so much, we might as well love each other.
Be blessed, be in church this Sunday and bring someone who needs Jesus in their life with you. I’ll do my best to tell them about how much Jesus loves them.
Love you,
Pastor Hank

Going to be a great day. Some days it rains and others are sunny, but they’re all good. Yesterday someone said to me, "I'm sick of all this hot weather." Isn't that the way most of us are? Seems we always want what it's not. But the truth is, it all works out anyway.
Someone asked me, "Are you having a good day?" My answer was and is, “They’re all good and some are better. ” If I trust God, He'll make them all work out for my benefit.
Some days seem to go our way more than others, but they’re all good.
God has given us this day, so let’s enjoy it. He'll make it all work out for you. If it looks a little rainy, look closer and you'll see the "Son" shine.
I'm believing this to be a beautiful day for you, one of the better ones.
I love you,
Pastor Hank

How's your day going to be? I believe that our attitude has more of an impact on our lives than anything else. It's more important than the facts or anything in our past. More important than education or money, or circumstances, than any of our failures or successes, more important than what others think or say about us. Attitude influences our success more than any gifts or skills we might possess. In fact it’s attitudes that will make or break a company, a church, or a home.
The good thing is we have a choice today regarding the attitude we will embrace.
I can't change my past or how people will act. Inevitably things will happen that are out of my control, but there's one thing I can control, my attitude. I am convinced that life is 10 % what happens to me and 90% how I react.
I think I've got some work to do, how about you?
If your attitude’s bad, it probably won't change overnight. But you can start. If you'll make the decision, the Holy Spirit will help you get it done.
Hope what I've said will make your day go better. Remember, Jesus loves you.
I love you, too,
Pastor Hank

Every day I try to share thoughts that will encourage you. I know that you face challenges and difficulties and I hope I'm able to help. Heard someone say, "Whatever you need in life, give it away." I'm learning that the best way to get my mind off my problems is to try and help someone with theirs . Everyone we will see today has a need. Here's a thought, why don't we try to be a blessing to everyone God puts in our path. If we have Jesus in our hearts and lives, we have the answer. I think that sometimes we get so busy trying to preach a sermon, that we forget that our lives are a sermon. Sometimes it's better to say or do something nice for someone than it is to read them a scripture. Don't misunderstand, I think we should tell everyone about Jesus. But I think we will win more people if we let them see His love in our lives.
So while you're waiting to be encouraged, encourage someone. While you're waiting to be blessed, find someone and be a blessing to them. What you sow will come back to you. It's just a thought, but it will work.
Be nice to someone and you'll be blessed!

Love you,
Pastor Hank
