Once, Israel was getting ready for battle. One of the guys got up early, looked out and saw that they were surrounded by the enemy. Things didn't look good. There were so many that defeat looked inevitable. I'm sure he thought, " Lord, this isn't going to be a good day." Then the prophet prayed, "Lord open his eyes so he can see." When God let him see behind the scene he changed his perspective. You see, God had it covered. His forces had the enemies out-numbered. There were more for them than against them.
Sometimes the circumstances and the challenges of life look overwhelming and seem too much to handle. But God has you covered.
Don't know what you may face, but He does. And He's promised no weapon formed against you can work. Everything will work for your good. He'll be there for you, no matter what. He has great plans for you and wants to bless everything you do. If He's for you who can be against you?
So today I pray that He will open your eyes so you can see all His goodness. Remember, things aren't always like they look, JESUS has you covered.

Jesus was by the sea of Galilee and told His disciples, "Lets go to the other side." I'm sure most of you know the story. On their way to the other side, a storm came up. The disciples panicked, woke Jesus up and said, “ Master, there's a storm; the boats going to sink and we're all going to die.” Here's the thing, Jesus wasn't worried about the storm. He said, “We're going to the other side,” and went down and took a nap. The disciples had seen enough to know if Jesus said something, that's the way it would be. But fear gripped their hearts because they couldn't see past the storm to the other side.
As long as we have an enemy, there will always be storms, times that seem difficult, opportunities to be disappointed and fearful. But Jesus isn't worried about the storm, so don't you. Just look past it. Jesus said no weapon formed against you will prosper and that nothing can hurt you. You've seen enough to know if Jesus says something that's the way it is. So don't worry, stay in faith and keep trusting; you'll get to the other side.
I read the end of the book and we win! Why don't you take hold of this day and squeeze all the life out of it that you can.
Isn't Jesus wonderful?

Good Sunday to you! It's gearing up to be a fabulous, family day here. Associate Pastor Chris Jones will be speaking “We Must Endure” in morning service at 10:30, with communion to be included.

Children's classes and teen class is also happening. After morning service, our Married 2U group will meet for their monthly lunch.

Evening service will feature the movie I Can Only Imagine, Part 2 in the fellowship hall at 5:00. We look forward to corporate worship and family time with you on this beautiful day!

JESUS LOVES YOU! You know how I know? The Bible says so. Seems that God's doing everything He can to show us His love, and the enemy’s trying to convince us otherwise. I want to tell you today, the devil's a liar. The Bible says that nothing can separate us from God's love. He loves you so much He gave everything just to get you back. If that love was so great that He gave His Son, JESUS, for you, don't you think for a minute that He won't take care of everything in your life. If the whole world turns against you, don't worry, HE WON'T! He has your day planned and will do whatever it takes to make it happen. He has you covered. So why don't you live this day with some "gusto." Your steps are ordered. Put your eyes on Jesus and you can't lose. Wow, I think I just encouraged myself. Let the One who loves you so much have control today. You won't be sorry.
I just wanted to help you start your day off right. Hope I did!

I hope you've had a good week so far. Been a little windy, but cheer up, it will be better soon. If you don't like this season, don't worry, another's on the way.
That's the way our lives are. If you don't like the season you’re in, just hang on, it's going to pass.
We all face challenges and have some hard times, but in the end, God always proves Himself strong.
So don't get discouraged and give up. Jesus will never leave you alone. He knows what's going on and He's got it covered. Just hang in there and see what He will do. Wouldn't it be terrible to quit right before your season changes. Well, it's something to think about!
I love you and hope to see you Sunday. I believe God has something for you that will help.
