June 14 Service is at the Campgrounds

June 14, the Sunday service will be the Ozark Camp and Retreat Center, 10357 Eland Rd, Neosho MO. NO SERVICE WILL BE IN JOPLIN.

The Joplin congregation will be in charge of the service with Apostle Richard James as speaker. Service begins with Hymn Sing at 10:40 and Worship starting at 11:00. Lunch follows and you’re invited to stay for the meal. (There is a charge.)

Sunday, June 7, 2026 - “Grow in Faith”

Join us Sunday, June 7 for worship and communion service. The theme is “Grow in Faith.” Ann and Don Thompson are in charge. Service begins at 10:45 am. with Care and Share. Classes for all ages start at 9:45 am.

Use of the Church Building

Several groups use the church on a regular basis for meetings and others use the church for special events. The signs on the front door and near the kitchen post when the building is in use. If you do need to go into the building, please be considerate of those who are meeting there.

Would you like to use the church for a birthday celebration or baby
shower? To meet with a family group in a place big enough for everyone?

The fellowship hall could be the place for you. Contact Pastor Julie Lay at 417-483-2314 to see if the dates are available.

From our neighbors down the street:

We LOVE our VETERANS!

College View Manor will be hosting a bake sale to support our veterans on May, 29th.

Charlie 22 is an amazing organization and all proceeds from this bake sale will be donated to them. We can’t thank them enough for all they do for our veterans.

If you would like to give back, by donating a homemade item or a bought item to put in our sale, please let College View Manor know and we will get you on our sign up sheet. If you don’t have the time to donate a baked good, you are welcome to come buy some delicious treats.

Come support our veterans and let’s give back to them! Land of the free because of the brave!
