The Church Joplin Our mission is to know Christ & to make Him Known. Its bigger than us and what we want. MISSION>ME The Church Joplin exists to know Christ and to make Him Known.

There are many facets that make up The Church today, and all of them have a purpose to accomplish this, but one thing that is often neglected is PRAYER. Most refer to The Church as a "House of Worship" where we have adapted the idea of being entertained, and the experience had become about us and selfish instead of selfless, while Jesus calls it a "House of PRAYER", a place where self and selfish

desires take the back seat, and He is priority and is entertained by our pursuit for all that He is and desires for us. While we embrace all facets of ministry such as, Praise & Worship, Children's Ministries, Youth, Teaching and Preaching from The Bible, coffee and fellowship, the priority of The Church Joplin is PRAYER, for if we PRAY we may know Him, then we can make Him known. Without PRAYER, it is impossible to know and have a relationship with Christ and improbable to make him known. Matthew 21:13 (KJV)
And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. So if you are looking for a church where knowing Christ is the desire, then The Church Joplin might be "Your Church".
