SUNDAY SCHOOL RECAP — WHEN GOD SAYS WAIT ⏰

We had such a wonderful time in Sunday School this morning! ❤️

Today we learned from Abraham and Sarah about something that can be hard for ALL of us—waiting on God.

📖 Psalm 27:14 KJV
“Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart…”

We talked about how God’s answer may sometimes be YES, sometimes NO, and sometimes WAIT—but waiting never means that God has forgotten us! 🙌

Through Abraham and Sarah’s story, we learned that God is still working even when we can’t see what He is doing. Waiting can strengthen our faith, teach us patience, and help us learn to trust God’s timing instead of rushing ahead with our own plans.

We also had some fun with a game of obedience! 🎉 The game helped remind us how important it is to listen, follow directions, and obey—even when we may not completely understand the reason. The same is true in our walk with God. While we are waiting, we can continue to listen to Him, trust Him, and obey His Word. ❤️

The kids learned to remember WAIT:

❤️ W — Worship God
🙏 A — Ask God
📖 I — Invest in His Word
🙌 T — Trust Him

Our big reminder for today was:

“You don’t have to understand God’s timing to trust God’s heart.”

Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep obeying. Keep serving. And keep waiting on the Lord! 🙏❤️

We are so thankful for another Sunday spent learning, laughing, and growing together in God’s Word at Bible Baptist Church! ⛪️
