“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.” (Ephesians 6:10-11 [ESV]).

A soldier does not enter the field of conflict without his protection; neither should a man of God step into the spiritual battlefield without the discipline of prayer. We often speak of the armor, but we must remember that the War Room is where that armor is forged and fastened. It is in the quiet, desperate moments before the Throne of Grace that we align our hearts with the Sovereign Will of the Father and fortify our spirits for the day’s trials.

Do not leave your home defenseless. Suit up daily in the presence of the Almighty. The battle is real, but the victory is secured through the power of Christ.
