In my own personal study I’m in 2 Corinthians. A proverb was shared with me about wisdom in Proverbs 1. We just had our three session Israel
Conference and in it was blown away by the not most excellent of speech but the wisdom. I am not most excellent of speech. All I want to do with the podcast or conference or a Bible study, is get people excited about the Word of God. That’s it. Read it study it, go down some rabbit trails. God loves us, and He wants us to know Him like He knows us.

I had a one on one study with a dear friend in Jonesboro by the river at the picnic table. Nothing big, we read judges 6:11-40. Just shows you can study, laugh, go down rabbit holes and talk about life. A study doesn’t have to be a set time limit, but should connect humans. We try to have dinner at our house ready by 5:15-5:30 and some fellowship. Don’t be afraid to show up at 5 on Sunday nights. Bring the kids!

Part of the back yard, where I’d love to strike up a fire and some marshmallows, and have a lawn chair Bible study.

Could you imagine a Bible study on the beach in Jonesport? We get the notion “church” must be indoors. Studies should be indoors. Why? Is God locked in a box?

Seems there has been 171 views on here recently. So maybe we can have dialogue: if you are in a home Bible study, where are you currently? Does anyone know anyone in the Beals/Jonesport/Addison area? Why do people not want to take a jump at a home Bible study?

So a bit of a secret. If people don’t show up, my family just does family time. We do our nightly Bible reading. We share these podcast episodes because we are also doing a Bible study in it. But if people show up to our house we pick up in the book of Hohn where we left off.
We are currently in John 7:25 Now some of them from Jerusalem said, “Is this not He whom they seek to kill?
There are lots of people today saying “no one tried to kill Jesus.” Trying to change the narrative. If it was a popular belief even among those who didn’t follow Him…
