It was the day of Preparation, and the Sabbath was beginning. The women who had come with him from Galilee followed and saw the tomb and how his body was laid. Then they returned and prepared spices and ointments.

Today, as we honor and remember those who have given their lives in order to protect others, may we also lift up in prayer those who have lost someone close. Heavenly Father, Thank you, for the bold, brave men and women who have given their lives serving and protecting others. Jesus, be near and hold the hearts of those who have lost loved ones.

It's hard to comprehend the sacrifice made for us all---- without Good Friday, we wouldn't have an Easter Sunday.

Today we finished the Easter series, as we discussed the events leading up to Easter: Maundy Thursday, Last Supper, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday.

Kiddos made crosses to remind them of the reason for the season and sacrifice God made.

God's love and grace is a gift to us and he lives in us. ❤️
