🌈 Another amazing night at Emerald Crossing VBS!

Tonight, our kids learned that no matter what valleys they face, they can trust the Good Shepherd to be with them every step of the way.

📖 “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” — Psalm 23:4

From Bible lessons and crafts to games and time with friends, Night 2 was filled with fun and reminders of God's faithful presence. A special thank you to the Arkansas State Men's Basketball team for helping lead games and making the night even more exciting for our kids!

☘️ What a great first night of Emerald Crossing VBS!

Tonight, our kids began their journey through Psalm 23 and learned that Jesus is our Good Shepherd—the One who leads, provides, and cares for His people.

📖 “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.” — Psalm 23:1–2

We loved seeing kids learn God’s Word, enjoy time with friends, and jump into all the fun that made tonight so special. We’re thankful for everyone who helped make our first night a success!

Who are you trusting with your life? Moses asked God two questions at the burning bush: "Who am I?" and "Who are You?" God's answer changed everything: "I AM WHO I AM."

When God calls you to something, He doesn't just give you a mission—He gives you His presence. Moses learned that God's presence is the greatest need we have. Not just power. Not just authority. But intimate, relational connection with the Great I AM.

Here's the truth: God delivers us FROM something TO something. He saved Israel from slavery to bring them to worship. He saves us from sin to bring us into relationship with Him. Jesus said it clearly in John 14:6—"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through Me."

Your past doesn't disqualify you. Your doubts don't stop Him. When God commands, He also enables. The question isn't "Who am I?" but "Who is going with me?"

Who do you cry out to when life gets hard? The Hebrew people spent 400 years in brutal slavery, and when they finally cried out to God, He heard them. Exodus 2:23-25 reminds us that we serve a God who is neither deaf nor indifferent. He sees your struggle. He knows your pain. And He's ready to respond.

God doesn't always answer on our timeline, but He never forgets His promises. Just like He remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, He remembers you. Sometimes His delays are for our benefit—building our faith and preparing us for something greater than we imagined.

What are you enslaved to today? Your job? Your status? Your fears? God wants to set you free so you can truly worship Him. The same God who delivered Israel is waiting for you to call out to Him. He hears you, and He's ready to move.

What a wonderful way to wrap up another incredible semester of IMPACT! 🎉 We’re so thankful for all the fun, friendships, and spiritual growth that took place this season. It has been a joy watching our Pre-K, Kids, and Youth grow in their faith and build meaningful connections each week.

Thank you to all of our families, volunteers, and leaders who helped make this semester so special. 💙

We’ll be taking a break for the summer, but we’re already looking forward to all that God has in store when IMPACT returns in August. We can’t wait to see everyone back for another season of faith, fun, and friendships!
