r the church as we seek to minister to the whole Jonesboro community. Our desire is to welcome all people openly, helping them find their place in God's kingdom, in the church, and to share God's love, hope and healing with everyone who comes our way. We are a church that offers our members the opportunity to support the Southern Baptist Convention, the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, and the Mt. It was a busy and encouraging Sunday at FBC!

Our church family canvassed the nearby neighborhoods, inviting children to Vacation Bible School. VBS begins next Monday, and there's still time to invite friends and neighbors. Feel free to share the VBS slide and help us spread the word. If you'd like to serve during VBS, let us know, we'd love to have you join the team.

Thanks to Jerry Muckensturm for sharing with us Psalm 90.

We also had the privilege of praying over Daniel and Megan Ladd as they prepare to head to the mission field. What a joy to send and support faithful servants as they take the gospel to the nations.

From our neighborhoods to the ends of the earth, we are grateful for every opportunity God gives us to make disciples and expand the Kingdom of Christ. Matthew 28:19-20.

What a great day at First Baptist Church, Jonesboro!

A very BIG welcome home to the Brecklein's, McCarty's, Huggin's, Aycock's, Hinton's, and Rainwater's! We also celebrated with Lillian as she followed Christ in baptism, honored Jason McCall and family for 5 years of faithful service, worshiped together as a church family, and heard Pastor Rodney share from Isaiah 53.

God has truly blessed our church with new family members and many people using their gifts for His glory. If you missed it, you can watch it here:
