Started in a home...preparing people for Home.

Pastor Chuck knew God wanted him to start a church, but he didn’t have a building. That didn't stop him from meeting with other believers and starting Charity in his home. In July 1996, Charity Baptist Fellowship was started in Pastor Chuck and Mrs. Beverly's home in Jonesboro, Georgia.

From there, the church grew and needed to find more facilities.

In October 1996, we moved to the Lake City Baptist Tabernacle, where services were held in the Fellowship Hall.

In July, 1997, Charity began meeting in the Glad Tidings Church building in Jonesboro.
