Some Sundays, the message doesn’t need a complicated title. Sometimes the truth is simply: “It’s Just A Lot.”

A lot to carry. A lot to process. A lot to pray about. A lot happening around us—and sometimes, a lot happening inside us.

But the storm around you does not mean Christ has abandoned you. The disciples had Jesus in the boat and still faced rough water. His presence didn’t always prevent the storm, but it changed what the storm could ultimately do.

Join us at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church this Sunday as we gather for worship, encouragement, and a timely message for anyone who has been feeling overwhelmed.

This Sunday, we’re gathering around a powerful reminder from Philippians 2:1–11: following Jesus means learning to see people with His compassion.

Sometimes we carry others through prayer, encouragement, patience, or simply by refusing to give up on them. And sometimes, while we’re busy caring for everyone else, we forget that Christ is caring for us too.

Come worship with us at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church as we reflect on the humility and love of Jesus—and what it means to carry one another with grace.

This morning, our Mount Carmel United Methodist Church family gathered around the breakfast table to celebrate two very special milestones!

🎉 Happy 40th Birthday, Jessica! We are so thankful for your joyful spirit, faithful heart, and the many ways you bless our church family. We pray this new decade is filled with God’s abundant blessings, joy, and purpose.

🎓 We also celebrated Luke as he prepares for an exciting new chapter! Luke will soon begin completing his Master’s Program in Genetic Counseling through the University of Arkansas and UAMS. We are so proud of his hard work, dedication, and the calling God has placed on his life. We know he will use his gifts to make a difference in the lives of so many families.

It was a wonderful morning of fellowship, laughter, prayer, and encouragement as we celebrated together. We are grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside one another through life’s milestones.

Please join us in wishing Jessica a very happy birthday and praying for Luke as he embarks on this exciting journey!
