Taken straight from Colossians 4:2, this command challenges us in two ways:

1) praying with an alert mind
.not only our hearts, but our minds and thoughts also need to be led and fed by the Holy Spirit, so that we stay alert, on guard.

2) Gratitude is ALWAYS the best place to start— when we pray with a thankful heart, we’re able to have a conversation with God, surrounded by the knowledge of all He has already done, strengthening our faith and trust that He’ll do it again!

We’re getting excited to kick off our “Fervent” study soon! Join us next Wednesday to watch the movie, “War Room”, as a launching point for this study! 😊
