John the Baptist Parish is a lively bi-cultural Catholic parish founded in 1852 in the heart of Joliet, Illinois. Together, people of all ages pray, learn and grow as we work together to make the inner-city Joliet community a better place by serving the poor and standing up for the rights of immigrants. We invite you and your family to learn more and to become a part of our community as we live th

La Parroquia de San Juan Bautista es una parroquia católica bi-cultural, fundada en 1852 en el centro de Joliet, Illinois. En conjunto, la gente de todas las edades rezamos, aprendemos y crecemos a medida que trabajamos juntos para hacer de la comunidad del centro de la ciudad de Joliet un lugar mejor, que sirve a los pobres y defiende los derechos de los inmigrantes. For those who have recently celebrated their First Communion or Confirmation, you can bring your special sacrament candle to carry during the procession.
