Honoring Our Veterans

Today, we pause to honor and thank all the men and women who have served our country with courage, sacrifice, and dedication. Your service and faithfulness remind us of John 15:13 — “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

At First Church of God, we are deeply grateful for your commitment and the freedoms we enjoy because of your service. May God bless all our veterans and their families today and always.

Today we honor the fathers, grandfathers, spiritual fathers, and father figures who lead with love, strength, and faith.

At First Church of God, we are grateful for the men who pour into their families, communities, and this church with Christ-like dedication. Whether you're a biological dad, an adoptive parent, or a mentor to many, you are valued.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and give thanks for the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

John 15:13 reminds us, "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends."

We honor their sacrifice, we pray for their families, and we thank God for the freedom we enjoy because of their courage.

May we never forget.
