Silent Praise Mime Ministry was established and founded on June 5, 2010 by a
young, righteous soul; Natayia Grant. Their #1 goal is to MINISTER
through the art of MIME. They started under the leadership of Pastor Herbert Brooks Jr. John MB Church in Joliet, IL and their current overseers are Sis. Jessica Jones and Lady Tomicka Smith. They’re called Silent Praise because they minister silently and

show their love for God physically, not verbally and they express their love for Christ with facial expressions, hand, and body movements. Their #1 Motto is “We believe a DISCIPLINED mime team is a PROSPEROUS mime team”. Silent Praise’s active members are: Natayia Grant, Anna Rucker, Kyla Kelly, Rakelle House, Aniya Smith, Kendall Wells, Dre’Vion Grant and Dionte Yarborough. Silent Praise was named the 2020 Gospel Choice Music Award Mime Group of The Year. With the 8 active members, Silent
