I will keep you updated as to where St. Anthony items are being placed. The Saint Anthony statue, The Sacred Heart Statue, The Bell, Both Altars, Angel Glass doors, The Memorial Monument, Altar chairsand The Tabernacle were taken by the Diocese Cemeteries. There will be a memorial area at Mount Olivet Cemetery that will include The statues, Bell and Memorial Monument. Angel doors at a cemetery in Wheaton. Look for me to post more details in spring and summer of the progress. Then you will be able to visit the area. Our statue of St. Anthony is in St. Mary Magdalene Church. (The statue that was on the Altar)

A downtown Joliet Catholic church that served the city's Italian population for many decades, St. Anthony's was closed last summer.

Numerous developments are occurring this week. The windows have been removed and crated. Although it is a somber period, we are acknowledging the progression of this entire process.
