‼️ Brag post alert ‼️

💫 Here at St. Ray’s we have some of the best tweens and teens!

🤩 These high schoolers and junior high kiddos from both our RE and School hung out together this afternoon to begin prepping for our VBS campers through team building activities, prayer, and decorating.

We are one parish community; building bonds as we grow in our faith!

Please 🙏 for us as we continue to get ready for our VBS participants!

On the eve of priestly ordination, we are reminded of the journey that leads to this sacred moment. Your support of Catholic Ministries Appeal makes it possible by funding the education, formation, room, and board our seminarians need to prepare for a lifetime of service. Every donation ensures these young men are equipped to faithfully serve our parishes. A special thank you to Josh Solarz for sharing your story and to every supporter of the CMAA! Let’s continue to pray for our seminarians as they take this next step 🙏

Last week, Mrs. Smith and Ms. Kaput took their 6th grade religion classes outside to spread God’s message. Each student chose a Bible verse that was important to them and used sidewalk chalk to bring it to life. It was a beautiful reminder to all of us that worship doesn’t just happen at Mass or in religion class- we have so many opportunities each day to celebrate God’s love for us and share it with others!

May 30 is the feast day of Saint Joan of Arc. As our 8th graders prepared to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, they chose a patron saint to guide them. Our students created these to serve as a visible reminder of how saints influence the way we live our lives!

Students from Mrs. Smith’s 7th grade class, along with a handful of 5th and 6th graders, helped lead our school community at Mass this past week. We also had other members of our school family participate in praise and worship in their respective languages. We ended our Year of Respect with a celebration of all the cultures that come together to make St. Ray’s the beautiful community that it is!
