Our next teacher intro is Ms. Amanda Durant. We’ve had the pleasure of having her teach in our school over the past 4 years. Ms. Durant is so engaged and fun with the kids especially while doing read-alouds and being their comfort spot if they are having a bad day. Her are some fun facts about Ms. Durant!

-She loves watching soccer with her boys (especially if they are playing)
-Taking Jeep drives with her husband
-She enjoys working out with friends and getting coffee after
-Baking cookies makes her happy
-Finally she loves a good family game night

We had an amazing first day for our open house! We loved seeing everyone and catching up. We are so ready to get our year started with all of our little friends.

We will be starting our staff introductions this week. First up is Amanda Chapman. Amanda is starting her 7th year at JCP and her first year as Assistant Director. We love her and her focus on making sure the kids have great experiences and she keeps us all super organized. Here are some fun facts about Mrs. Chapman.

She is an ambidextrous lefty
You can always find her at a dance competition or soccer field supporting her 2 kids, Charlie and Jackson
She’s a mountain vacation type of girlie
Her hobbies include hiking and running, but her favorite things are organizing and painting
She loves horses
Her entire family is made up of JCP alumni

Mrs. Chapman is ready for a great school year and making memories with everyone!

One of our sweetest traditions at JCP!

Today was our 5th Annual Lemonade Stand. Our 3-year-old and 4-year-old students were so excited to welcome friends and family to our little school and serve up some delicious lemonade!

Our 3-year-old class raised $488.61, and our 4-year-old class raised $85.00, bringing our grand total to $573.61! 🎉

All proceeds will be donated to the Johnstown-Northridge Food Pantry.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our kiddos and for your generosity—you truly helped make a difference! 💛

Come see us this Thursday for our annual Lemonade Stand. Proceeds go directly to the Johnstown-Northridge Food Pantry. Lemonade will be by donation only and will be set up in our big room.

What a special day in our little community! 🫶🏼

Today was our annual scavenger hunt, and we took to the streets of Johnstown following clues and collecting treasures along the way! Our preschoolers were treated to so many fun surprises and delicious goodies—it truly felt like a day full of magic and smiles. ✨

We are so incredibly thankful for the kindness, generosity, and love shown by the amazing local businesses who supported us. You helped create such a meaningful and memorable experience for our kiddos, and we are beyond grateful!
