A major loss! Prayers for Fr. Bucci and our friends at fellow Italian Parish, Sacred Heart Church. A supporter of our music program!

I am forever grateful for his support of me as a young musician. To this day I have instituted many of the same policies he enforced at his parish at my own as Music Director. I was honored to be one of the few musicians that met his standards..."

Watch live on EWTN, 3pm this Thursday! Patrick Ryan, who grew up in our parish, and who has been studying for the priesthood for the Diocese of Providence at the Pontifical North American College in Rome, will be ordained to the Transitional Diaconate along with his classmates from other US Dioceses this Thursday, September 29 at St. Peter’s Basilica, 9:30am Rome Time (3:30pm our time). EWTN Television Network is live streaming the ordination on its cable channel starting at 3pm, for those who wish to watch it! Fr. Woolley will be flying to Rome next week to attend the ordination, and will be celebrating Patrick’s First Mass as a Deacon the following day at St. John’s at the Latin Gate Church in Rome (unfortunately, there is a wedding at Ss. John and Paul Basilica that day). God willing, Patrick will be ordained a priest for the Diocese Saturday June 24 at the Cathedral in Providence, and celebrate his First Mass of Thanksgiving Sunday June 25 at our Parish! Please keep Patrick, and all our seminarians studying for the priesthood, in your prayers!
