From the grateful heart of your shepherd:
I want to extend a personal and heartfelt thank you to every lady in our church. Your sacrifice, dedication, and willingness to serve the Lord by serving those around you never go unnoticed.
Thank you for every item donated, every piece of chicken cut, every comforting word spoken, every plate prepared and served, every mess cleaned, and every quiet act of service that no one else may have seen. You stepped in wherever you were needed, worked together with love, and served with the heart of Jesus.
There truly are not enough words to express how thankful I am for each of you. Ministry is not always found behind a pulpit - sometimes it looks like a kitchen full of women cutting chicken, fixing plates, washing dishes, babysitting so mommy and daddy can serve others, hugging hurting people, and simply saying, “What else needs to be done?” That is ministry. That is love in action.
I love you all dearly. I appreciate you more than you know, and I am incredibly thankful that I get to serve the Lord alongside such wonderful women.
And on behalf of Sister Amy, thank you. She was so deeply grateful for every sacrifice you made and for the love you showed her and her family. In one of the hardest seasons she has ever had to walk through, you surrounded her with love, compassion, dignity, and care. You helped honor her and her family beautifully when they needed it most.
Scripture reminds us, “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” — John 13:35
Ladies, this week you didn’t just talk about the love of Jesus - you showed it.
From Sister Amy and Brother Gerald and from me, thank you. I love you, I appreciate you, and I thank God for every one of you!
At this time please remember the Dennis family in your prayers and for the many days ahead. ❤️
