🌱Planting Seeds We May Never See Grow🌱
Wednesday morning, we had the joy of hosting our annual Prayer Breakfast for the staff and teachers of our local school district. This is one of our favorite traditions as we prepare for another school year, and we are always so grateful for the opportunity to gather, encourage, and pray over those who pour so much into our students.
Pastor Erik shared a devotional centered around “Planting Seeds You May Never See Grow.” As teachers and staff begin a new year, so much of what they do is planting seeds; seeds of knowledge, kindness, encouragement, confidence, and hope. They may not always get to see the impact of those seeds, but God can use every one of them in ways we may never know.
We are incredibly thankful for our school district and for every teacher, administrator, and staff member who helps make our schools such a special place. We’re also so thankful for the church volunteers who helped make the morning possible by preparing the delicious meal and for everyone who baked the cinnamon rolls, muffins, breads, and other goodies to share. Your time and generosity are truly appreciated! ❤️
As a new school year begins, we are praying for a safe, successful, and wonderful year for our students, teachers, and the entire school district. May God give them strength, wisdom, patience, and encouragement as they step into another year of planting seeds that can make a lasting difference.
“I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.” - 1 Corinthians 3:6
