Beacon International Baptist Mission Serving local churches and their missionaries as they endeavor to fulfill the Great Commission

Dr. Adam N. Crabtree, Director

Serving local churches and their missionaries as they endeavor to fulfill the Great Commission. Founded by Dr. Jerry Mullendore in 1996 as Evangelization in Eastern Europe (EEE) and expanded in 2006 to serve missionaries worldwide, BIBM is now led by Dr. Adam Crabtree. The vision remains the same: to serve both local churches and missionaries by connecting those who give with those that go.

“Three Decades, One Mission” You are invited to a very special event. On Tuesday, July 21, 2026, we will be hosting a celebration to commemorate 30 years of God’s grace in the ministry of BIBM.

Launched in July 1996 as "Evangelization in Eastern Europe," the ministry later expanded to serve missionaries world-wide and was renamed BIBM in 2006.

If you are in the East Tennessee area, we would be honored to have you join us at Eastside Baptist Church in Greeneville, TN.

We are pleased that Pastor Jason Wiley, the chairman of our advisory council, will be preaching that night. There is truly no one better suited to help us commemorate this milestone.

Please continue to pray for the Owolabi family in Nigeria.

Some of the most dangerous situations have moments of quiet before violence suddenly erupts. People here remain anxious. Schools and markets have experienced moments of panic because rumors spread very quickly. When reports circulate that bandits have been sighted nearby, parents immediately begin calling their children, and many shopkeepers close early out of caution. Even when some reports are later denied by security agencies, the fear has already spread throughout the community.

We are thankful to see soldiers patrolling and appreciate the governor’s response in that regard.

Thank you so much for your prayers and concern.

Please continue to pray for Nigeria.

On Friday, May 16, armed terrorists attacked two schools near the Owolabi family in the Orire Local Government area of Ogbomoso, Oyo State — Community High School Ahoro-Esinle and Baptist Nursery & Primary School. Reports indicate that approximately 46 children and staff members, including very young children, were abducted.

This morning, we woke to the heartbreaking news that one male staff member has been killed. The attackers have also sent videos of terrified victims pleading for help.

This is devastating and deeply disturbing. Terrorist activity that once seemed far away is now at the doorstep of Ogbomoso. Please pray fervently for the safe release of every hostage, for comfort for the grieving families, for wisdom and courage for authorities, and for God’s protection over churches, schools, and communities throughout Nigeria.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

📖✨ Ready to Read God’s Word Together in 2026? ✨📖

As we look ahead to a new year, we want to invite you to join us in a 52-Week Bible Reading Plan for 2026. There is no better way to start—and continue—the year than by being daily in the Word of God.

Start with us this Sunday by reading Romans 1-2 and follow along with us for the rest of 2026.

Whether you’ve never read through the Bible before, or you’ve done it many times, this plan is designed to be steady, manageable, and encouraging. One week at a time, we’ll open the Scriptures and allow God to speak to our hearts, shape our thinking, and strengthen our walk with Him.

The Bible is not just a book to be owned—it is a book to be read, believed, and obeyed.

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
— Psalm 119:105 (KJV)

Let’s make 2026 a year marked by faithfulness in God’s Word. 📘
Let’s read it in our homes, with our families, and personally each day.
Let’s allow Scripture to guide us, correct us, and point us continually to Christ.

📌 Join the 52-Week Bible Reading Plan
📌 Commit to reading God’s Word in 2026
📌 Encourage someone else to read along with you

God’s Word changes lives—and it starts with opening the Book.
