Today’s Blessing

May PEACE settle into your soul before your answer comes. May JOY rise up within you at a moment you least expect it. May PROVISION come out of nowhere and remind you that God has your back and HE goes before you. May you defy the odds and come back from the trials you’ve endured. May you thrive right here, in the place God has you until He moves you. And may your life be a living-breathing testimony of God’s grace and goodness, His kindness and His love. You matter so very much to Him. Have a blessed day.

Psalm 18:30-33 NLT ~ God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock? God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect. He makes me as surefooted as a deer, enabling me to stand on mountain heights.

The story of redemption didn't end with Christ's resurrection and ascension. Throughout the New Testament, believers are repeatedly given the promise that Jesus will one day return to complete God's plan - fully defeating evil and establishing His eternal kingdom.

Scripture describes His return using images of majesty, victory, and kingship. One of the most powerful examples appears in Revelation 19, where Jesus is portrayed riding a white horse - a symbol of victory, authority, and righteousness. In the ancient world, conquering kings would enter cities on white horses after a military triumph. The imagery communicates that Christ's return won't be marked by weakness or humiliation, but by unmistakable glory and sovereign power.

This stands in sharp contrast to His first coming. In the first coming, He arrived in humility, born in a manger and giving His life on a cross for sinners. The second time, Scripture presents Him as the victorious King who returns to judge evil, vindicate His people, and to establish perfect justice.

For believers, this promised return isn't a passive waiting game, but a call to live with active hope. It transforms our present suffering into temporary labor pains, and ensures us that every experience of suffering in this life has an ultimate purpose.

In light of His coming kingdom, Christians are called to live as citizens of that future today, holding fast to the truth that the King is coming, and that His restoration will be absolute.

“For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.”

Today’s Blessing

May you embrace the healing process that God has in motion right now. Do not stuff emotions that keep trying to surface. They're trying to tell you something. Refuse the quick fix. Embrace the journey. Envision a whole, healed you. Pay attention to the stirrings within your soul. Pray about the new ideas that arise within you. Notice the daily graces God provides. They'll make your burden lighter. You're equipped for the long-haul, not just for the moment. Healing is a process, and it happens in steps. So take the next step. May you boldly imagine by faith the new levels of freedom that Jesus won just for you. That Promised Land is yours! Have a great day.

Psalm 103:2-5 NLT ~ Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!

Today’s Blessing

May you rest assured that God has used all of your past experiences to prepare you for this particular moment. You're not who you once were. You're wiser, stronger, and more resilient. May you shake off yesterday's regrets, fears, and worries, and lay hold of faith, hope, and love. Jesus won't fail you now. You'll have what you need in the days ahead. He has your back, and He's gone before you. Refuse to squander this current trial. See this as an opportunity to declutter your soul, renew your mind, and re-engage your faith. God has something for you here. Listen for His voice and mine the treasures He offers you here.

Isaiah 45:3 NIV ~ I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.
