What a great way for the Junior High & High School students to resume Sunday School… by baking bread! 🌾 🍯

The class made the bread which was still warm when the gift bearers brought it forward during the offering. God uses the gifts we offer for the blessing of the people! 🙏🏼

We are having a blast this week at Vacation Bible School! At Rainforest Falls, we've been exploring God's nature. The kids and adults are discovering God's loving, gracious, forgiving nature.

We are excited to host Vacation Bible School this coming week! Join us Monday - Friday, July 20 - July 24 starting with supper at 5:00PM and programming going to 8:00PM each evening.

This year’s theme is Rainforest Falls.” Every evening, students will move through stations for Sticky Scripture & Bible Adventures, Wild Games, and Imagination Station.

We are tremendously grateful for all who helped make the July 4th party a great success. From sno-cones, to face painting, water sprinklers, and mocktails and hotdogs and hamburgers - people came out and hung around for hours! We even had a DJ booth and a light show.

While it was a hot July day, lots of great memories were made.

Pentecost 2026
We celebrated the gift of the Holy Spirit by wearing red, with singing and procession into the church. Pentecost was also the day four young people were confirmed.

Special thanks to Pastor Jim DuMond. These young people started their confirmation journey with him and then finished with Pastor Chris.

And thank you to all those who helped with the Pentecost Tea reception after worship.

Augustus Pennell was baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit on Sunday, May 17, 2026.

Affectionately known as Auggie, this young man was ready to be baptized. Auggie kept reaching for the water in the font! Auggie is the son of Travis & Janeen Pennell and is the little brother to his sister, Sophia. Serving as sponsors were Nicole Odom & Jay W. Pennell.

Children from the congregation came forward to fill the baptismal font with cups of water signifying that out of the many, we are made one in Jesus.

Thanks be to God for the gift of Holy Baptism!
