We cold-smoke the extra virgin olive oil with hickory and pecan wood in a special machine we created to keep the olive oil at 37 degrees Fahrenheit so it stays raw and retains all of it chemical and nutritional properties while it's being naturally smoked.

Hello, everyone, after absolutely forever. Let's talk shrimp season. It's currently happening. The great thing is you throw a net in the water and you pull up free food.

Shrimp are all well and good sauteed or in a shrimp cocktail, but if you really want to shrimp out your shrimp, you should make a shrimp burger. Cook one for your friends and they'll start calling you Big Shrimp. They'll be all like, "It's Big Shrimpin', baby."

The past 4 months have been almost unadulterated hell, with the briefest sprinkling of calm. One shining positive is that I got engaged to my lady love atop a mountain in Acadia. The other is that Kyle and I opened up a food cart, Birdie's Famous Sausages, at the Charleston Farmers Market. This announcement marks week 3, and I think we've finally figured out our recipes and methods. So, come get some! Yes, we even have breakfast sausage so you can get your morning started right.

No, we haven't shut Holy Smoke down. We've just been trying to catch up while simultaneously starting a restaurant. And also working part time jobs. We're actually about to have smoked balsamic back in stock, so get ready.
