Dear Friends,

As I write this evening, John’s Island is now under a Winter Storm Warning, with conditions expected to deteriorate beginning midday Saturday.

Out of an abundance of caution, all activities at Church of Our Saviour are canceled through Monday, including our 10:00 a.m. worship service this Sunday.

The Mayor of Charleston is urging everyone to stay home and stay safe, and I want to echo that guidance. Your well-being is our highest priority.

On Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m., I will share a brief pastoral video on Facebook and invite you to tune in as we remain connected in prayer and encouragement.

We will continue to monitor the weather and will communicate clearly once a decision is made about reopening the church after Monday.

Please stay warm, take care of one another, and know that you are in my prayers.

The weather looks like it may spare the coast, so tomorrow’s 10 am worship will be held at Our Savior. However out of abundance of caution, Sunday School is canceled for Jan 25th. Fr. Karl.
