Blessed Feast of Saint Augustine!

Let us pray,

Renew in your Church, we pray, O Lord, the spirit with which you endowed your Bishop Saint Augustine that, filled with the same spirit, we may thirst for you, the sole fount of true wisdom, and seek you, the author of heavenly love. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.

Amen.

We pray for all students returning to school this year. May they embark upon this new school year with an eagerness to learn and a desire to serve, to reflect the light and love of Christ.

We pray for all teachers returning to the classroom for a new school year. May they find fulfillment, in their vocation by witnessing Christ’s love, as they joyfully and enthusiastically share the gift learning with all God’s children.

And how can we forget to pray for their friend, Fr. Colin Patrick.
