Ephesians 6:15 NKJV
“And having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace,…” The Roman Soldier’s shoes had metal spikes. They were to trample anything in their way! They were unstoppable! This is the way we are to carry The Gospel to others. Be unstoppable and trample the devil while we do it! We are on a mission from God. It is His Will that we carry His Word to all the world! (Mark 16:15) Put on your Gospel of Peace shoes and go preach The Good News and in so doing you will stomp the devil!

Ephesians 6:14 NKJV
“Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness.” Once you have on the belt of Truth, don’t doubt God, then put on the Breastplate of Righteousness. The Breastplate protects your heart. (Proverbs 4:23) This is where your spirit man resides. When you guard your heart it protects your spirit and soul. It keeps you from doubting God. It also places a guard over your mouth so you only say the right things. (Luke 6:45) So every morning get dressed and don’t forget your Belt of Truth and your Breastplate of Righteousness!

Ephesians 6:14 NKJV
“Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth...” Apostle Paul was imprisoned in Rome when he wrote this. The order Paul lists the armor, is the order a Roman soldier got dressed each morning. The first thing to put on is the Belt of Truth. It holds all the other armor in place. It is the foundation that everything is secured by. The only and absolute truth is found in The Bible. (John 17:17) It will settle and secure everything else in your life. Don’t doubt God’s Word, because if you do, you are calling God a liar. Believe The Word and you will receive all the good things God has for you! (James 1:5-8)

Ephesians 6:13-14 NKJV “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore….” We are to get up and get dressed for God everyday. Put on the spiritual clothes He has provided and stand ready for His service everyday like an obedient soldier. Ask Him, “Lord, what would you have me to do for you today?” Then do what He tells you! (2 Timothy 2:4)

Ephesians 6:11 NKJV
“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” This is how you stand and win over the devil. Put on God’s armor and use God’s Word to resist him just like Jesus did. Over and over Jesus said, “It is written.” (Luke 4:1-13) You must know what God has already said about situations. If you don’t know, google it and the Bible verses will come right up. There is no excuse today for not finding out what God has said in The Bible. Then change your life to become what God already has said.
