While the shop is still open and thriving, this is goodbye to social media. I will no longer be posting, updating, or answering messages via FB or Instagram. As I have mentioned, this decision did not come lightly, but I feel that for myself, morally, I can no longer feed into the Meta and overall social media machine as AI is becoming more and more forced upon us with no opt-out option and that AI is stealing content, art, and other original creations. Not only that, but I have seen how these two platforms specifically will apply their rules unequally. From a more personal standpoint, I am also leaving social media (both in regards to my business and my personal account), because I believe it has caused people to become more callous and detached, making it easier for them to be hateful and hurtful. This is not something I care to be part of or feed into.
My personal and business goals have always been and continue to be to bring people together with understanding, compassion, open hearts, and open minds. My shop stands as a safe space, welcoming to all without hate in their hearts. This is a place of spiritual insight, education, and connection and will continue to be. So, please, feel free to stop by the shop and say, "Hi", to ask questions in order to find guidance, or to just enjoy the good energy.
For everyone who has and continues to support the shop, I cannot thank you enough. You have all been so wonderful and kind, keep it up, not just with my shop, but with the people around you and other small businesses. Community is the way forward, we must stand by each other and help each other.
