Sandy Creek Baptist is one of the oldest churches in the area. Founded in 1771, services started on this site 249 years ago. Located in a rural part of Amelia County. There are great youth and children’s ministries, fellowship with young parents, and a thriving senior’s group. At Sandy Creek, we focus on teaching and preaching the Bible, and a personal relationship with Jesus through the Holy Spirit. Our doors are always open for all to come.

Ageless Wonders Tuesday the 9th: Breakfast 🍳 at Merks in Farmville at 9:30 then at the church for VBS prep.

July 10th: Creigh Riepe is in 🎶concert🎶 here at Sandy Creek. Watch out for the advertisement we'll share later today or tomorrow to help spread the word! Creigh has been on the Voice TV show and played here once before and it was awesome!

Ladies Conference: Beffie Williams July 18th. 8:30am-2pm. See Michele Elliott. It's a prayer 🙏workshop for women. $20.

Anyone out there have a love for gardening, and the time to do it? Since we've gotten into the new building, there is a lot of gardening that needs to be tended to on a regular basis.

Small sections outside office, fellowship, and main worship center doors.

If you have some time to tend to them (weeding and tending) please let us know. We'd love to talk to you before they are completely over run....

Hey Y'All You asked, and HE ANSWERED YES...CRIEGH IS BACK.

We have Creigh Riepe (from the Voice) coming back to worship with us July 10th, 2026 at 6pm start.

We have concessions offered ahead of the worship night (with all proceeds to youth group) so come at 5pm to get food and drinks while you wait. Last time we filled half the building, this time let's fill it all.

THIS IS A FREE CONCERT WITH A LOVE OFFERING TAKEN (100% of love offering goes to Creigh)

Tomorrow: Ageless Wonders are going to the museum tomorrow. Contact Candy Talley if you are going. Leave promptly at 9am from the church. (Be here by 8:50)

This Sunday: Guest Preacher who is a missionary we support. Come join us!
