Can you Believe we are kicking off September!!!

New Sermon Series starts this Sunday called "Practical theology" Where we talk about the importance of theology and standing on the truth of God's Word in current culture. This week we cover "Why Theology Matters" and September 13th is "Why the Church Matters."

Choir has started back up! See Carly Woolfolk to get connected and to sing.

❤️🏠Women's Ministry: Preparing your heart and home for the holidays event! Mark Oct 10th on your calendar. 9am-2pm. Limited to 50 people. $10 per person reserves spot and lunch provided. Sign up required as we only have 50 spots available!

9AM Sunday School
10AM Church Service
11:30(ish) Meal

Tour the new grounds, the historic site, and the new playground. Play some games, eat some food, and meet some people.

Potluck meal. (Meat is provided)

August 23rd: New Member Class! Thinking of joining the church, see Pastor Greg or a deacon to get set up for the next class held August 23rd at 8:55AM meet outside Worship Center.

Last Tuesday combined Mens and Ladies Bible Study Tuesday Night: "Life Together: Living Life Together in the Church"--Taught by Mike Ring. Anyone can come. Every study is stand alone so you will be able to learn from it and not feel like you missed the previous ones.

David Lyndon Hall passed to be with the Lord August 9th, 2026 with his wife Aleta by his side. For anyone interested, services and ways to serve are below:

12:00 (Noon) Saturday 8/15/26 Graveside Service at Sandy Creek Baptist Church.
Around 12:30-1 Time of Fellowship with a meal provided.

Ways to serve:
If you can bring a dish for the meal: Contact Deserae Whitus 804-263-4553
If you can help set up the fellowship hall, get supplies, etc: Contact church office or Deserae as well.
