Berean Armed Forces Ministry Berean is a ministry dedicated to reaching the United States Armed Forces with the Word of God. Let me introduce myself. My name is Patrick Hayes.

I am the founder of Berean Armed Forces Ministry. I would like to give you a brief testimony and a few facts about Berean Armed Forces Ministry. Following the terrorist attacks on 9/11//01, our Lord called me out of my factory job in North Carolina and showed me a way to share thousands of Gospel tracts with those who are protecting our country and churches. My first mission trip was to Ft. Bragg

on 10/01/01. Since that day, I have, by Godโ€™s grace, shared about 300,000 Gospel tracts at military installations. My method is simple: we start by collating some wonderful Gospel tracts with a handwritten thank you note from other labourers who are concerned about the salvation of our troops. The tracts and notes are then compiled into an attractive pocket folder designed for a soldier, and I take them to the streets (Luke 14:23). Starting at about 5 a.m., when the traffic is very heavy, I stand at the last intersection outside the gates of the base where I have chosen to hand out the folders. I have plenty of time to talk with the driver before he or she enters the base. Over 29,000 drivers have accepted the packet. All materials are being provided through my work with churches and individuals who are concerned about the salvation of our soldiers. I hope that you will pray for the salvation of those who are protecting our freedoms while serving in the Armed Forces. Today's update on Brother Patrick:
Sunday was a rough day at the hospital with multiple tests, new medication, lack of food (while waiting for testing to happen), and removing 3 liters of fluid in 3 days.
The cardiologist informed us the heart is working at 25% capacity and he will be developing a three-month regiment (recipe) of medication and treatment to build up the heart function. The challenge will be fine-tuning the recipe quickly to see improvement soon.
This doctor is a born-again Christian and understands Brother Patrickโ€™s desire to spread the Gospel to our Armed Forces; and thinks staying busy with this will help.
Please pray that the right regiment is worked out soon, and that Brother Patrick will soon be able to recover quickly at home.

Update on Brother Patrick...We are still waiting on test results, and another test that may happen Sunday or Monday. I will update here as soon as I know more. He is still passing out tracts to workers in the hospital, so in good spirits...Thank you so much for praying!

Dear Prayer Partners,
We all know the power of prayer, and are asking for your prayers today, as Brother Patrick has been admitted to the hospital.
He is being treated for a bacterial infection, but is also retaining fluids throughout his body and in his lungs. Doctors are performing tests to determine the extent of congestive heart failure; and we hope to know results and more information later today.

Looking forward to this week of collating our packets for this Veterans Day and upcoming events this year. We need to have at least 10,000 packets done this week.
Thank you so very much to the men and woman at Cornerstone Baptist Church for helping us Monday to get set up and allowing us to use their facilities this week. Could not have done it without all their teamwork.
We will be at the church every day this week through Friday 9 am - noon then 5-9 pm. There will be snacks and drinks in the mornings and a dinner starting at 5 every night with collating starting at 6:00 pm. The church address is: 4357 W. Dixon Blvd, Mooresboro NC.
We would love and need your help if you can come at anytime!
Our soldiers and veterans need to know there are people who do pray for them and love them but that most of all Jesus loves them dearly. This is a huge way to share that with them. See you this weekโ€ฆ..
