Tyler Lairamore spoke at Baptist Men this past Monday at Calvary Baptist Church. Tyler is an expecting father later this year. He read from Joshua 4 about the stones used as memorials. Tyler broke down for us memories he had growing up and the ones he hoped his son will experience. In short, Tyler is thankful that God saved him and brought godly men into his life along the way. He encouraged us men to stay vigilant and seek ways to help, disciple, and invest in the lives of all men. Thank you for sharing, Tyler. You did a great job!

What a blessing to witness the baptism of Barrett Arnold last Sunday at Calvary Baptist Church Jesup! Barrett is a young man who has been touched by the Spirit of God. Barrett came to a place where he understood his need for forgiveness as a sinner. He has declared the only Hope for salvation is in Jesus of Nazareth. He publicly professed his love for Jesus and servitude unto Him for life. We are proud of you, Barrett! The Beasley Family has come to Calvary Baptist Church Jesup traveling many miles. They come to the Wayne County community by way of California! After settling here for a few years, they have finally chosen a local assembly they want to call their own. On Mother’s Day Daniel, Rocio, and James (L to R) made it official by becoming members of our Faith Family. They all profess Jesus of Nazareth as their personal Lord & Savior. They seek to be part of a church that walks with one another and seeks to be more like Christ through discipleship. We are looking forward to growing in Christ together! We are thrilled to open our fellowship to any who believe on the Lord Jesus and seek to become more like Him. John Ross Kirkland was baptized on Mother’s Day at Calvary Baptist Church Jesup. He comes from a strong Christian home and a church that loves her children. With that said, John Ross knew those factors were not enough. God revealed to him that he was lost in his sin. Praise to the Lord, he trusted the Lord Jesus’ blood to save him from his sins. He knows he belongs to Jesus and will serve Him all his days. He made his decision public to the world and we are proud of him!
