Today's Bible Verse:
Isaiah 60:1 is a powerful call to spiritual awakening and divine purpose.
“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.” —
Beloved, this verse reminds us that God has not called His people to live in darkness, fear, or discouragement. “Arise” is a call to get up from anything that has weighed you down—whether pain, disappointment, weariness, or doubt. God is calling you to rise in faith and confidence.
“Shine” means to reflect the light, love, and glory of God in your life. As believers, we are meant to carry His presence so that others can see His goodness through our words, character, and actions.
The phrase “for thy light is come” reveals that the source of our light is not ourselves—it is God’s presence upon us. We shine because His glory has risen upon us. Even when the world feels dark, God's glory empowers us to radiate hope, peace, and truth.
In simple terms: Isaiah 60:1 is God’s invitation to rise above fear, walk boldly in your purpose, and let His glory shine through you for the world to see. 💜🙏
