It was such an honor to have Rick Newton and his wife with us on Sunday morning, sharing his mission. They have literally walked with a cross all over the world in the last 50 years!

The Netherlands, Israel, Germany, Egypt, etc. He and a team have distributed 75000 Bibles! He has prayed with presidents and led military personnel to the Lord. He was captured and escaped, and continued the work the Lord has called him to do.

If I learned anything, it is that God wants your yes, no matter how crazy it sounds. After hearing their mission, I have no excuses!

Today was a great day to celebrate with Family Sunday and Baptisms~ What a great way to start a new life!

The worship was such a time of connection to the Lord.

"Turn your eyes upon Jesus

I am thankful for Pastor Jay's message yesterday. It was very timely for me, and when I talked with others, it hit them the same way.

What CAN you do while you are waiting? I woke up this morning thinking about it. What CAN I DO while I am waiting?

Are you worrying while waiting?
Are you sitting and doing nothing while you wait?

Joseph spent many years waiting in different circumstances, but wherever he was, he didn't just sit and wait; he did what he could with what he had and where he was. His character always showed through his circumstances.
