Ascension of Baha’u’llah May 29th 2026 Gathering

“On 29 May 1892, after four decades of bountiful radiance, from the first intimation of its rising glory in the Siyah-Chal and Baghdad to its midday splendour in Adrianople and ‘Akka, the Sun of Baha—as ‘Abdu’l-Baha memorably relayed in His telegram informing Sulṭan ‘Abdu’l-Ḥamid of the ascension of Baha’u’llah—had set. “The Bab born in 19 Century Iran (Persia) was a Messenger of God. When the young herald of the Baha’i Faith, declared his mission to the first of his believers during the fateful evening of May 22, 1844, the world’s newest global Faith began. Baha’is all around the world believe that the Bab, a title which means the Gate, ushered in a new era and pave the way for the coming of Baha’u’llah. Both destined to establish the unity of humanity, in which “the cause of division among peoples, races, and nations will be obliterated.””

“The Festival of Ridvan is come and the splendour of the light of God is shining from the invisible horizon of His mercy. The overflowing grace of the Lord of oneness is pouring down copiously from the unseen world and the glad-tidings of the Kingdom are coming in from all countries. The resplendent morn that betokens the advancement of the Cause of God and heralds the exaltation of His Word is dawning in every region.

Praise be to God that the fame of the Ancient Beauty — may my life be offered up for His loved ones — has been noised abroad in the world and the glory of His Cause is spread far and wide throughout the East and the West. These joyous developments will indeed gladden the hearts of His loved ones.”

In truth, they are the pillars of religion whereby the righteous are distinguished from those who transgress His commandments. “War is really nothing more but the result of existing forces. Should we desire to end that devastating consequence we should go back to the basic causes and remedy those evils. We should eliminate the hatreds, national bigotry, mistrust and self-aggrandizement as well as economic, social and religious differences which now prevail in the world if we desire to establish an abiding peace.
