The God of Creation has made us all of "one blood" therefore we celebrate and embrace our shared humanity across racial, cultural, and national lines (Acts 17:6). The scriptures teach that heaven will be a place of diversity and inclusion (Rev 7:9; 5:9). Therefore as believers, we celebrate diversity, equity, and inclusion for all people and reject attempts to deny opportunity and access to anyone based on race, s*x, creed, or place of origin. The work of love and justice requires believers to stand up for these values whenever they come under attack in society (Amos 5:24; Micah 6:9; John 13:35). This is the core message of the gospel as declared by Jesus in Luke 4:18, in whose steps we follow.
