Happy Heavenly 97th Birthday to our
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.l!!!!
Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church honors you on your Born Day. You will forever be remember for visiting our church on March 27, 1968, and speaking before a crowd of 2,000 people.
Eight days later after leaving our church
Dr. King was murdered in Memphis, TN. by
James Earl Ray, (there is a Memorial Plaque in his honor in our vestibule to commemorate his visit). Thank You Dr. King for LEADING THE WAY and for your UNWAVERING LOVE for GOD’S PEOPLE!!
R.I.P. and may your wings soar high with the Heavenly Angels!!

Rev. Dr. George W. Maize,III. who served as our pastor for 25 years. He led us with faith and humility! He showed us the love of Christ, and though we grieve, we trust he is now with his God!! Rev.
