We are excited to have Tarvoris Uzoigwe back at FBC Jenks as our special guest this Sunday, September 6th. "Coach T" serves as the Evangelism and Apologetics Ministry Partner at the Oklahoma Baptist State Convention. "Building Believers."

Those are the two words Lori Stark discovered through Kingdom Circle that best describe the calling God has placed on her life.

For years, Lori has invested in students through small groups, discipleship, and teaching opportunities. She knew God had called her to serve the next generation, but Kingdom Circle helped bring greater clarity and confidence to that calling.

As she reflected on God's faithfulness throughout her life, Lori saw how He had used every season, experience, and challenge to prepare her to encourage others.

"God has proven faithful in every circumstance."

Through Kingdom Circle, God not only reaffirmed Lori's calling to youth ministry but expanded her vision to include college students as well.

"The Lord showed me that serving youth is my calling, but expanded my focus to college students too."

Today, Lori is passionate about sharing God's faithfulness with students as they navigate junior high, high school, college, and young adulthood. She believes her story can encourage others to trust the Lord through every season of life.

Since completing Kingdom Circle, she has begun leading a new D-Group of seventh-grade girls while continuing to invest in students she has discipled for years as they begin their college journeys.

She is spending more time in God's Word, praying intentionally for students, and looking for opportunities to share God's goodness and mercy with the next generation.

Today, Lori feels confident in how God has called her to spend this season of her life: building believers.

"I have faith and purpose in what God has called me to do in this season of my life."

FAITH BEGINS AT HOME

Kye placed his faith in Jesus while reading the Bible with his parents and learning about the ABCs of salvation. After asking Jesus into his heart, he chose to take the next step of obedience through baptism.

We're grateful for the family members, teachers, and church leaders who helped point him to Christ, and we're celebrating alongside Kye as he publicly declares his faith in Jesus.

"Pursuing Joy."

Those are the two words Sandy Hinman discovered through Kingdom Circle that best describe the calling God has placed on her life.

Life hasn't always been easy. Through childhood trauma, broken relationships, and difficult seasons, Sandy has experienced her share of heartbreak. Yet through Kingdom Circle, she was reminded of a truth that continues to shape her life today: joy isn't found in circumstances. Joy comes from God.

Before taking Kingdom Circle, Sandy often felt stuck, unsure, and searching. She believed serving was one of her spiritual gifts, but the experience helped her see something deeper.

"Kingdom Circle surprised me by revealing more than servant, but a gift of being a joyful servant for the Kingdom."

One of the most meaningful parts of the class was hearing others share their stories and realizing she wasn't alone in the process of discovering how God had shaped her through life's experiences.

Throughout the course, Sandy continued coming back to one simple truth:

"I can choose joy in any situation. Joy comes from God!"

That perspective has changed the way she approaches everyday life. Rather than focusing on circumstances, Sandy now intentionally looks for joy in both the big and small moments. She says it has transformed her mindset and strengthened her faith during difficult seasons.

Kingdom Circle also helped Sandy better understand the role joy plays in God's story. It's not just something believers experience, but something they share.

Today, she finds herself encouraging those around her, especially her family, to choose joy. Whether it's a difficult day or a hard moment, she wants others to remember the hope and strength that can only be found in the Lord.

"Joy is meant to be a constant strength for believers."

As she looks ahead, Sandy believes God may be inviting her to take a new step as a Sunday morning greeter, welcoming others with the same joy and encouragement she has experienced herself.

For Sandy, pursuing joy isn't ignoring life's hardships. It's choosing to trust God through them and pointing others toward the hope found in Him.

"The joy of the Lord is mine." — Sandy Hinman
