Mary Ann is doing so well! She is so grateful for everyone's prayers, good wishes, and meals. Because she has been so well taken care of, she does not need any more meals after those scheduled through Wednesday, 10/28. Please continue to keep her in your prayers for continued healing and restoration to her usual energetic self!🙏

Hello JUMC Family!

We hope you’re staying warm and doing well! We have some exciting updates and a special time of fellowship planned for next Sunday, October 25.

Right after worship, please join us for an All-Church Meeting. We’ll share the latest progress on our Happich Annex Repair Campaign, catch up on how everyone is doing, see where everyone's interests lie, and open the floor for your thoughts and feedback. Your input means the world to us!

Afterwards, the celebration continues downstairs! We’ll be honoring our fall birthdays with a delicious treat specially made by Eme.

We can’t wait to gather, catch up, and celebrate together!😊

On Sat. Oct. 24 th there will be a concert honoring Rev. Butler at The Providence Baptist Church - 87 E. Hanes St. Germantown. The program will start at 1 pm., and is $20 to attend.

Mary Ann's progress as of Saturday-October 17, 2026

Mary Ann is doing well. She's getting in her walks in the hallway faithfully despite some pain in her leg. Bernadette will be staying a little longer rather than leaving today as planned. Mary Ann is grateful for everyone's payers and good wishes.🙏

Mary Ann is out of surgery, in her room, and has had PT and OT see her already. Please keep her in your prayers for pain relief and smooth and complete healing!

Hello JUMC Friends-

Tom and I took food and flowers to Mary Ann tonight. She's pretty calm about tomorrow's surgery. She has to be there at 6:45am so is guessing that surgery will begin at 9am. It's supposed to last two hours.

She'll call or text when she's through so I can report back to everyone. They'll keep her overnight and her oldest, Bernadette, is coming out to stay with her Thursday 'til Saturday- possibly Sunday or longer.

We loaded them up with (prepared) chicken, potatoes, and green beans, along with 3 frozen meals along with bagels, cream cheese, lunch meats and bread so they should be fine until the meals start rolling in.

People have been good about signing up to bring meals which is great!

Mary Ann will be having knee replacement surgery on Oct. 14th. We'd like to help her out by providing meals so that she can focus on recovering. We have several small meals frozen for her for back up and will make dinner for Mary Ann and her daughter Thursday-Saturday nights as her daughter will be....
