Prayer to Cleanse, Sanctify, and Synchronize:
I would like to share with you something I have begun to put into practice every morning. Like the rest of you, I want my day to count for God. I want to accomplish His purposes for me each day. Most of all, I want what I do to be pure, as unhindered as possible, and effective for the Kingdom of God.
We all have a history FAR greater than our personal timeline—it’s every generation and all the people within those generations since Adam and Eve to you. God requires REPENTANCE for our sins and iniquities [iniquities are greater than sin—one definition I learned is it is twisted sin] to be forgiven and the spiritual consequences to be nullified and stopped. In order to break the generational cycle in your ancestral line and its influence in your life, it requires Repentance – and GOD HONORS YOUR REPENTANCE on behalf of your ancestors.
At the beginning of time, I believe God designed blessings and treasures that are specific to each of us into every day, but our sins and iniquities have blocked them from being released and reaching us. The following prayer is to CLEANSE & SANCTIFY & SYNCHRONIZE your timeline to God's. I do it daily for that day’s date—and if I miss one—I add the missed date to the current one. I am excited to see what a year from now holds—after I’ve completed a year’s cleansing and sanctifying. Sanctify means to “set aside as holy”.
Prayer to Cleanse, Sanctify, and Synchronize your time with God’s Time:
Father God, I thank you for his day, _(date)_, and for this day in all of history.
I acknowledge that You had a specific plan, purpose, and original design for this date, and that my sins, my family’s sins, and my ancestor’s sins have defiled and hindered Your design and plan for us.
Father, I repent on behalf of myself, my family, and my ancestors for our sins and iniquities against ourselves, others, and You. I ask You to forgive and cleanse us of those sins. (If the you think of something specific or the Holy Spirit shows you something, repent for it).
I confess, repent, and ask for Your forgiveness for everything we have done that has hindered our ability to experience Your presence, hear Your voice, and know Your perfect will for us.
I confess, repent, and ask for Your forgiveness for our sins that have defiled this date and have caused it to fall short of your excellent plan. Please forgive us for everything we have done to keep this day from becoming all You designed and created it to be. (It would be good to repent for rebellion, etc.)
God, I ask You to cleanse this day _(date_) and every _(date)_ in history through the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ. I ask You to wash away all defilement and cover all evil purposes, plans, and intents with the blood of Jesus Christ.
God, in Your sovereign way, I ask You to sanctify this date, setting it aside for Your purposes, and restore it to Your original design. I ask You to synchronize this date with Your divine time and plan and cause this date to be anchored in You.
I declare Your purposes for me today and every _(date)_ in my future to be a day when I hear Your voice, accomplish Your purposes, and walk out Your plan for my life.
I give You the praise, glory and honor for all Your workings in my life.
