Shalom Y'all! This week, we will have Erev Shabbat (Eve of Sabbath - Friday night) service tonight in Jenison at 8:00. Fellowship meal will begin at 6:30. As a reminder, we keep biblical kosher, meaning we do not have or serve pork, shellfish, or other biblically unkosher/prohibited foods. Additionally, we do allow both meat and dairy in the same meal, as there is no biblical law against that.

We will also have Shabbat morning service beginning at 10:00 in Jenison. We will have coffee, tea, and maybe even donuts or similar. After services, we will have Oneg/fellowship meal. Since Shabbat is a non-workday for us or anyone who might serve us, we are in no rush to disperse after service and meal. You are free to join us for discussion afterwards.

Both services will also be available via Zoom. Let me know if you need the address or the Zoom link.

Tomorrow, Saturday September 5, 2020, the flock of God's Plan for Mankind Ministries will be joined by Kehillat 'Or Echad at Solon Center Wesleyan Church, at 15671 Algoma Ave. NE, Cedar Springs , MI 49319 with before-service fellowship beginning at 10:00 and the service beginning at 10:30 am.

Join us for a time of fellowship and biblically kosher food with discussion as we talk about the Jewishness of Jesus/Yeshua and run through a service much like we believe He participated in every Sabbath when He walked with us. We will explain what it referred to when Jesus/Yeshua was called 'The Word Made Flesh'. The service will include a reading similar to when Yeshua/Jesus, Himself, read from the book of Isaiah, and we will also be reading from that same book. In fact, the service will include readings for the Torah (the Book of the Law), the Haftorah (from the Prophets), and the Brit Chadasha (the New Testament).

We do not rush through the service, and we try to explain things as we go. We will also have lots of time after the service for questions. As you likely know, the Sabbath of Yeshua/Jesus is Sundown Friday to Sundown Saturday, and we are not to work or have servants work for us during the Sabbath. So we are not rushing to go home to do laundry, cut the grass, go to a restaurant, or go shopping. We choose to follow the ways of the God the Father and His Son Yeshua/Jesus.

Join us for what could be an enlightening look at 'church' the way Yeshua/Jesus did 'church'.

If you are interested in joining us for the fellowship meal, please consider bringing a dish to share that is biblically kosher, basically meaning no pork/ham/bacon and no shellfish. If you forget to bring something to share, still feel free to join us for the meal.

Since we are still battling Covid, please respect the instruction from the host church to wear a mask to and from your seat. It can be removed once seated.

May God bless each and every one of you this Independence Day with the ability to read the Bible through your own eyes and rightly interpret it so that you can follow God’s set-apart ways and God’s set-apart days.

I'd like to talk with you briefly about one of the basic tenets of being a follower of the Lord, either God/Ha Shem directly or through His Son, Yeshua/Jesus. Every Sabbath, we recite these words from Exodus 31:13:
Speak also unto the children of Israel saying:
Above all, my Sabbaths you shall keep; for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you.

We know that Yeshua/Jesus told us that if we love Him, we will follow His commands. He also told us that He follows the ways of His Father. Be leery of anyone who tells you that the Sabbath was changed from Saturday to Sunday. Also be leery of anyone who says that his or her teachers in Seminary taught him that the Sabbath for followers of Jesus is Sunday.

Understand that it was the Roman Empire that gave the world a Sunday Sabbath as they set out to conquer the followers of the Jewish Messiah, Yeshua/Jesus. A Sunday Sabbath has nothing to do with following Yeshua/Jesus and the Roman Empire knows this. For anyone who may not be aware, the Roman Empire merely changed uniforms and gave themselves the new name of the Universal Church (aka: The Catholic Church) and the Emperor merely changed his hat and took on the new title of Pope. They continued their killing spree, but those wars now became known as Holy Wars.

Understand that Yeshua/Jesus and His early followers read and followed the Torah - The Five Books of Moses - Genesis to Deuteronomy. Yeshua/Jesus was quite clear when He told us that He did not come to abolish the Law (Torah) and the Prophets. If He and His early followers followed the Torah, don't you think you should, too? Yeshua/Jesus and His disciples observed His Father's seventh day Sabbath and His always and forever Holy Convocation Days and Festivals. Shouldn't you?

God's Plan for Mankind Ministries is a group of Jewish-born and non-Jewish-born followers of Yeshua/Jesus. One of our ministries is to help heal our people from the lies and abuse from pastors, rabbis, and congregations that wrongly interpreted the Word of the Lord and led their flocks astray. Shabbat Shalom, Y'all! For those who may be interested, we hold services online. Shabbat morning services are held in the Grand Rapids, MI area and virtualy Saturdays at 10:30 ET and go until they stop (12:30 and beyond). Message me if you are interested in attending. We also have a Friday night (Erev Shabbat) service the first Friday night of the month. It could grow to become twice monthly or weekly, if people are interested.

We are also growing several ministries to support our flock. If you are interesting in serving or would like to see a particular ministry started, feel free to post here or Message me.
