Happy Labor Day! Today, we celebrate the dedication, hard work, and contribution of workers who help build stronger families, businesses, and communities. Labor Day is more than a long weekend - It’s a time to recognize the people behind the work: those who show up early, stay late, serve others, create, build, teach, care, protect, and keep our world moving forward. But however you celebrate, take a moment today to appreciate the value of hard work and the people who make a difference every day. Here’s to every worker and every contribution, big or small. Wishing everyone a safe, happy, and relaxing Labor Day!

🍂 Thankful Thursday 🍂
Today, we are thankful for routines, new beginnings, back-to-school days, and the start of a beautiful fall season. 🍁📚 (I have heard several staff saying, but its actually Sept. 22)
We are especially thankful to all the people who make our schools a special place for adults and children — the bus drivers, teachers, principal, janitors, librarians, and every staff member who shows up each day with patience, care, time, and dedication.
Thank you for pouring your time and effort into the students and helping guide, encourage, and inspire them. The lessons you teach and the kindness you show today may shape the leaders, dreamers, and difference-makers of tomorrow. Possibly a future employee at Harbor House Ministries.
Thank you for investing in children and their future! ❤️
This is the first year in many the bus is not stopping here. We will miss those great connections.

The end of summer in our community usually means one thing-it’s time for the Hudsonville Fair🐄💐 🎡 🚜During fair week, we love to bring some of the residents over to the barns to experience all the sites, sounds, and smells of the fair. The residents, especially enjoy visiting the animals and taking in all the excitement! Here are just a couple of photos from one of the visits this week. 📸 We will have more pictures for everyone to admire next week, so stay tuned. ❤️

🌸🌴 The last day of spirit week is Hawaiian shirt day! 🏄‍♀️🏄‍♂️ there were so many great, colorful shirts spotted around campus today! Our campus was full of tropical vibes! What a fun way to wrap up our spirit week!☀️🌴💙

Thankful Thursday: Encouragement
Sometimes we need to be reminded that what we do matters.
You may not always see the impact of your prayers. You may not know how much your encouragement meant to someone. You may wonder if your time, your service, or your small acts of kindness are making a difference.
They are!!
God sees every act of faithfulness—even the ones that no one else notices. ❤️
So, if you're feeling tired today, take a breath. Don't give up. Don't underestimate the difference you can make.
Keep showing up. Keep loving people. Keep serving. Keep believing.
