Backpack food pick-up tomorrow from 10am-12pm at Mission House in Jena and 9am-2pm at Trinity Mission Center in Olla.

The Backpack Program is collecting jars of peanut butter to send home during the Easter Holidays to help during the extra days at home. If anyone can help out we would greatly appreciate it!

It was brought to my attention today that some of our Backpack Kids in the north end of the parish are sometimes not receiving their backpack food. They are also being told that either not enough was sent or that we ran out and there was not enough for everyone. This is NOT true. We are given a number and that is what we send. If we are unable to send for all the kids then none will recieve. I very much hope that this is a misunderstanding and is untrue.
It may be time for me to reevaluate the way I do this.

I reached out and you answered the call! I thank God for each of you! We will be able to nearly quadruple what we normally send home during the holidays. These kids will be so excited when they receive the bags next week. Y'all are such a blessing to this ministry. Thank you!
