Leadership today has mastered the art of cutting people off - but forgotten the calling of calling people back.
We cancel.
We terminate.
We silence.
We label someone by their worst moment and act like we’ve done something righteous.
We are quick to get on the phone and tear someone down.
But where is the burden to restore?
The same Bible that talks about holiness also says:
“Restore such a one in the spirit of meekness…” (Galatians 6:1)
Not expose them.
Not embarrass them.
Not build a case against them.
Restore them.
We’ve got leaders who are quick to remove someone from a platform - but nowhere to be found when it’s time to walk them through healing.
Quick to cut ties - but too busy to carry burdens.
We’ve replaced shepherds with executives.
Replaced fathers with managers.
Replaced altars with exit doors.
Anybody can fire someone.
Anybody can walk away.
Anybody can protect an image.
But it takes a real anointing to say:
“I see your failure - but I also see your future.”
Jesus didn’t cancel Peter when he denied Him.
He restored him - and built the church with him.
Some of you were cut off by people who were supposed to cover you. Handled like a problem instead of loved like a person.
But hear this clearly:
God is not intimidated by your failure.
Heaven is not in the business of cancellation.
What man threw away, God is still willing to rebuild.
If your version of leadership only knows how to remove, but not restore - you’re not leading like the Kingdom - you’re managing like the world.
It’s time for leaders to get their hands dirty again.
To stop protecting platforms and start pursuing people.
Because at the end of the day - you’re not called to build a perfect image - You’re called to restore broken lives.
So moving forward choose to be the one that restores and doesn’t continue the cycle of tearing others down.
If your phone rings & its negative about someone else. Rebuke that person.
Its time to restore again!
