Digging the Discipleship Trench Together.

Before we can fight from the safety and strength of a trench, somebody has to dig that trench first.

…and this is exactly what we'll continue to unpack tomorrow night at our final June Summer at CLC Wednesday Night Connect before a short break.

We'll enjoy snacks and drinks while connecting with one another, watch some great video content together, and then spend time discussing how to actually live out what we learned on Sunday and in the video in practical ways that apply to everyday life.

Plus, there is a special program just for the kids.

What a great start to Summer at CLC!

This past Wednesday night, we gathered for connection, conversation, an inspiring video, and some meaningful discussion as we launched our new focus: Discipleship Beyond the Classroom and From the Trenches.

The goal isn't simply learning God's Word. The goal is seeing God's Word become active in our lives.

It's Time To Get Out Of The Classroom And Into The Trenches

One of the biggest roadblocks to spiritual growth is believing information alone will change us.

It won't.

Growth happens when God's Word gets out of the classroom and into the trenches of everyday life.

That's exactly what we'll be exploring as SUMMER AT CLC kicks off this Wednesday night, June 10th at 6:30 PM.

Our theme is:

DISCIPLESHIP BEYOND THE CLASSROOM AND FROM THE TRENCHES

Expect practical discussion, meaningful connection, encouraging stories, snacks, drinks, and an opportunity to build stronger relationships with your CLC family.

The snowball is building! And it can take out our biggest roadblock...which may be one we put there!

Something is building at Covenant Life Church, and we're just getting started.

This Sunday I'll be wrapping up our GET OUT OF OUR WAY series with a message on what may be the most common roadblock believers place in their own path. Left unchecked, it can rob us of peace and slow down, stop, or even derail the purpose God has for our lives.

We'll also be looking ahead to Summer at CLC as we launch three Wednesday nights focused on practical discipleship, real growth, and meaningful connection for every age and stage of life.
