The Appalachia CrossRoads staff had an incredible time planning and hosting the Back to School Bash! From bubbles and firetrucks to delicious food and lots of laughter, it was a day that was full of fun and community. We loved seeing so many smiling faces all while making memories together. We’re so thankful for everyone who helped make this event such a success! A special thank you Maytown Fire Department and Praise n’ Play Inflatables, Soft Play & More !!!

Thank you, NewPointe Community Church, for giving your all last week! Because of your servant hearts and hard work, we were able to finish underpinning at a neighbor’s home, tackle plumbing and electrical repairs, and pour into the lives of children through our day camp.

It was a week filled with service, love, and the joy of being the hands and feet of Jesus. We are so thankful for the opportunity to serve alongside one another and make a lasting impact for God’s Kingdom!

A huge thank you to New Hope Christian Church for serving alongside us last week! Together, we built a ramp for a neighbor, continued making progress on our children’s library, painted a room at the monastery, and participated in day camps. It was a week full of meaningful moments and lives being impacted through serving others. Thank you for your willingness to jump in, work hard, and love our community so well!

This group definitely knows how to pivot! Thank you, Southpoint, for your servant hearts, flexibility, and determination throughout the week. Together, we accomplished so much, from working on flooring and doing yard work at neighbors’ homes, to assisting at the monastery, finishing a deck, building shelves, helping with Race Week, and visiting Wayland to learn more about its history and culture.

Most importantly, this week was about more than the projects we completed. It was about the relationships built, the memories made, and the lasting connections formed while serving together. Thank you for making such a meaningful impact!
