With a Grateful heart I thank God for sharing a beautiful spirit filled person like Sandra (KK) Lockley with the Women At The Well Of Encouragement Ministries.

What ever she could do to help the mission she did it with such joy and passion. Always, keeping a smile and a laugh in the midst of her service.
Such a dear precious sister.
We are sad as she will be greatly missed.

God has called her unto him as the Psalms 116:15 reads; Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.

Here are the total results from our Blessing in a Handbag service project! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we collected purses filled with personal hygiene items and other thoughtful gifts. Each donation was given from the heart to support our local shelters and encourage women in need. Thank you to everyone who helped make a difference in our community!

Good Evening,

Women at the Well of Encouragement was thrilled by the outpouring of support received for our "Blessing in a Handbag" Program at yesterday's event.

Throughout this month, we received donations of new and gently used purses filled with toiletries and other beautiful items that women love and can use.

The program celebration was wonderful, and our guest speaker, Minister Rita Thomas, delivered an awesome and inspiring message Called , "Purse'onality: What's in Your Purse?"

Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make this event a success. Your generosity and support are truly appreciated!

Our ministry is honored to launch the Blessings in a Handbag Program as part of our summer outreach efforts to be a blessing to women in need.

All additional handbags received will also be distributed to women shelters.
We recognize that many women make tremendous sacrifices to ensure their families are cared for, often putting their own personal needs and desires aside.

Women At The Well of Encouragement is designed to remind women that they are seen, valued, appreciated, and loved.

We are asking for donations of new or gently used purses/handbags filled with personal care items and small encouragement gifts that can help brighten a woman’s day.

Suggested Items Include:
â—‹Toiletries and hygiene products
â—‹Lotion, soap, deodorant
â—‹Toothbrushes and toothpaste
â—‹Feminine hygiene products
â—‹Journals or devotionals
â—‹Socks or small accessories
â—‹Encouragement cards or scriptures
â—‹Lip balm, tissues, combs, etc.

Your donation can make a meaningful difference in the life of a woman who may be facing difficult circumstances.

God was still blessing on December 23rd as a special organization delivered a great number of bikes and toys to Women at the Well of Encouragement Ministries to further distribute to our surrounding community in Jefferson.
We are thanking God for touching every giving heart this Christmas!
