🇹🇬 TOGO, AFRICA — Until we meet again! ❤️
We’re officially home, but it’s safe to say a piece of our hearts will forever remain in Togo.
This past week, 10 of us from The Jefferson Church had the incredible privilege of partnering with V***r Ministries and being a small part of something so much bigger than ourselves.
Throughout our time in Togo, we visited three of V***r’s ministry centers in Togoville, Agou, and Sokome, where we witnessed firsthand the incredible work God is doing through this ministry and its local leaders.
From providing clean water and quality education to creating jobs, organizing sports leagues, sharing the Gospel, and serving families in surrounding communities, V***r Ministries is doing so much more than meeting immediate needs. They’re investing in people, building relationships, and helping create lasting change for generations to come.
Our days were filled with community outreach, work projects, playing with children, learning about the local culture, and building relationships with some truly incredible people. We even had the honor of celebrating the grand opening of V***r’s newest ministry center in Agou!
But as meaningful as the work was, what we’ll remember most are the people. The smiles. The laughter. The conversations. The friendships. The overwhelming kindness and hospitality we experienced everywhere we went. We came to Togo hoping to make a difference, but we left realizing just how much of a difference the people of Togo made in us.
We’re returning home with a deeper understanding of the challenges many communities face, a greater appreciation for the work being done to address those challenges, and an even greater love for our Togolese brothers and sisters in Christ.
To the incredible staff and local leaders of V***r Ministries, thank you for allowing us to come alongside you and witness the work you’re faithfully doing every single day. To everyone who prayed, gave, encouraged, and supported our team along the way, THANK YOU! You helped make this experience possible.
Togo, we love you. We are praying for you. And we are already counting down the days until we get to return. 🇹🇬❤️
